Merch that makes a difference. This t-shirt features a bold design spotlighting the Australian grayling, one of the 11 threatened species at the centre of the Wilderness Society’s landmark Federal Court case.
The Australian grayling is a small but remarkable freshwater fish found in rivers across NSW, South Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. Previously known as the ‘cucumber mullet’ for its distinctive cucumber scent, it follows a unique life cycle that relies on free-flowing rivers. Its numbers have declined due to bushfires, sediment, dams and disrupted flows. Despite being listed as vulnerable, it still has no recovery plan.
