Merch that makes a difference. This t-shirt features artwork spotlighting the Forest red-tailed black cockatoo, one of the 11 threatened species at the centre of the Wilderness Society’s landmark Federal Court case. It also forms part of our Birdlife Collection, celebrating Australia’s extraordinary native birds.
Found only in the South West of Western Australia, this striking cockatoo with its deep red tail feathers and unique ‘karak’ call is under threat. Logging and land clearing are destroying the mature forests they rely on to breed and survive. With small family groupings and slow breeding cycles, every tree lost makes a difference. Protecting habitat is essential to protect this bird.
