Merch that makes a difference. This outdoor vinyl sticker features the greater glider, one of the 11 threatened species at the centre of the Wilderness Society’s landmark Federal Court case.
Australia’s largest gliding mammal, the greater glider lives in tall eucalypt forests along the east coast and depends on old, hollow-bearing trees for shelter. With dense fur and a fluffy tail, it can glide up to 100 metres between trees. But habitat destruction from logging and land clearing has caused populations to crash. Though listed as endangered, greater gliders are still waiting for a recovery plan.
Stick it somewhere visible and show your support for one of Australia’s most unique and vulnerable forest dwellers.

The campaign:
Backed by our supporters, we’re challenging the Environment Minister’s failure to make recovery plans for Australia’s threatened wildlife. Every purchase supports the Wilderness Society’s full suite of tactics to hold governments accountable and protects Australia’s threatened species.
About the artist:
This sticker art was designed by George Levi, a creative based in Magandjin / Brisbane. They work primarily in digital illustration with a focus on native flora and fauna, environmental protection, regenerative agriculture, natural winemaking, local community radio and any experimental musical project that needs an album cover. When they are not drawing, they can be found meandering around the Brown Snake with their dog Louis, trying to spot that one magnificent Australasian Darter that likes to sun itself near the Maritime Museum.
