Ghost bats are so named for the extremely thin membrane in their wings that makes them appear ghostly at night—perfect for haunting your dreams.
But when we lose trees, we lose these pest-controlling pollinators.
You don't have to look ugly to Save Ugly. We’re celebrating the not-so-cute critters that support life on earth—and you can too! Designed by local and international artists, these tees are rearing their ugly heads for a limited time only, so don't miss out.
Juan Rodriguez Cuberes is an Argentinian-born, Melbourne-based graphic designer and illustrator who uses dots to create his detailed, realistic work (yes, he has a lot of patience). Although he has confessed to never liking bats, after drawing one, Juan can appreciate its “cool features like the wings and mostly really interesting facial features. In fact, without showing its teeth, is quite cute, I like it now.”
