Smooth knob-tailed geckos can self-amputate their head-shaped tails as a defense mechanism. Gross, but cool.
Plus, they keep creepy-crawly populations under control.
You don't have to look ugly to Save Ugly. We’re celebrating the not-so-cute critters that support life on earth—and you can too! Designed by local and international artists, these tees are rearing their ugly heads for a limited time only, so don't miss out.
Ellen Porteus is a Newcastle-born, Melbourne-based illustrator. When researching the smooth knob-tailed gecko, she discovered that they can actually growl and bark when threatened! Ellen finds this hilarious for such a teeny lizard.
Please note: With Christmas closures, this product won't be made and sent until after 7 January 2019, and can take up to 4 weeks to arrive due to production time. We'll get your order to you as quickly as we can!
