Ghost sharks are living fossils.
Virtually unchanged after 400 million years, they never grew out of their mashy teeth plates, their venomous spines, or the retractable penises on their foreheads. But deep in our oceans, ghost sharks prey on tiny, sick fish which keeps our oceans a little healthier.
